are glad to issue Bulletin No.6 in regard to SIYSTE
which will be held on the days of July 12-15 2005 in
Shanghai, P.R.C.
At present the registrations
of foreign schools have finished. During the time of
June 17 to 20, the Organizing Committee has already
sent by fax all the invitation letters for visa of the
foreign students and teachers to the liaison persons
of all the countries and regions involved. Upon the
receipt of the letters and tables, please apply for
the visa ASAP with the copies of the above-mentioned
documents to the Chinese embassy remarked in the tables.
Don¡¯t hesitate to contact the Organizing Committee (

E-mail: siyste@hpe.sh.cn ) if problems occur or visa
application fails. The group leaders or the liaison
persons are required to check the validity of the passports
of all the group members.
Please send the following information
to the email box of the Organizing Committee (siyste@hpe.sh.cn
siyste@sina.com ) on the earliest possible date.
1. Confirmed fight numbers and
arriving and departing dates at Shanghai Pudong Airport.
2. Descriptions and quantity
of actual articles to be exhibited of the teachers or
students so as to facilitate the declaration at the
Customs.
3. Special requirements of the
foods.
The foreign students and teachers
will be requested to present the following documents
when checking in:
1. A certificate verifying that
the student is studying at a full-time school and the
teacher is on-the-job in a full-time school, which should
be signed by the president of the school and translated
into English.
2. The policy of insurance or
its copy of each student and each teacher including
health insurance and civil liability insurance.
3. The invitation letter issued
by the Organizing Committee of SIYSTE 2005.
4. Passports with photos and
birth date.
5. One photo (for passport)
of each student and each teacher. (with name on backside)
6. The group leader should provide
a complete name list of all the members, written in
prints, describing the name of countries, schools and
group leaders or liaison persons.
Please
bring with you daily necessities for staying in Shanghai.
